Chrome extension published by FC Labz / Full Circle Placements · Effective 16 September 2026 · Updated 23 September 2026 to cover Fit Check and its outreach tools; updated 1 October 2026 for Score a list, Apollo and email sending

This extension is an internal tool for Full Circle Placements staff. It has two parts, chosen with a toggle in the side panel. Employer Finder takes the text of a job posting and identifies the employer most likely hiring behind it. Fit Check reads the candidate page the user is looking at and checks it against one of the company’s open roles. When a candidate scores well, Fit Check can also look up their contact details, write an outreach email into the user’s own Outlook drafts, and send a pre-recorded voicemail; each of those happens only when the user clicks the button for it. It is not a consumer product and cannot be used without a Full Circle Placements staff account.

What the extension collects

Your email address and name Used to sign you in and to attribute a scan or a score to the person who ran it, so a colleague who submits the same posting or scores the same candidate can be told who did it first. The name comes from the company’s own staff directory for your address; you do not type it.
Job posting text and URL Employer Finder. The posting you paste, or the page text you capture by clicking. This is the content analysed to identify the employer. It is submitted only when you click Add to Queue.
Candidate page content and URL Fit Check. The visible text of the candidate page you are on (a LinkedIn profile, an Indeed candidate, a page in the company’s applicant system), or the résumé PDF, or screenshots of the page when it has no readable text. This is the content checked against the role. It is captured and submitted only when you click Score this profile, or, for Score a list, when a company admin starts a list (see below). For a list, the uploaded sheet’s rows (names, profile links and whatever columns it has) are also stored, so everyone working the list sees the same results.
Scan and score records The result of each scan or score, its timestamps, the criteria it was checked against, and a record of attempts that were refused as duplicates.
Candidate contact details Fit Check, only for a candidate who scored 50 or better, and only when you click Look up contact. The candidate’s name, LinkedIn address and current employer are sent to Apollo, a contact-data provider; if Apollo leaves a personal email or a phone number missing, the candidate’s name and city are then sent to Enformion, a people-search provider. Both return email addresses and phone numbers on record for that person. Those are stored with the score so the outreach buttons can use them and so a second lookup for the same person is not billed again.
Your Outlook mailbox connection Optional. To write outreach drafts into your own mailbox, you connect it once through Microsoft’s own sign-in page. The extension never sees your Microsoft password. The company’s backend keeps an encrypted token that lets it create drafts in your Drafts folder (Microsoft Graph, permission Mail.ReadWrite). Sending is a separate, optional approval (Mail.Send) that Microsoft asks you for only if you choose to allow it; with it, the backend sends an email only after you have read it and pressed Send. It does not read your existing messages. A staff member may also offer their connected mailbox for colleagues to send outreach from on their behalf (for a role an admin sets up that way); that is their choice, made from their own account, and they can withdraw it. Disconnecting removes the token.
Outreach records A log of each contact lookup, email drafted or sent, and voicemail sent: who did it, for which candidate and role, and when. For a voicemail, the candidate’s phone number, your caller ID, and the name of your recording are sent to Slybroadcast, the voicemail delivery service the company already uses.

What stays on your own device

The extension keeps the following in Chrome’s local storage on your computer. None of it is transmitted anywhere, and it is removed when you sign out or uninstall:

What the extension reads from web pages

Only the page you are looking at, and only after you click. When you click Capture this page or use the right-click menu on selected text, Employer Finder reads the visible text of that page, or your selection, and puts it in the side panel for you to review before you submit it. When you click Score this profile, Fit Check reads the visible text of that page (scrolling it once so that everything has loaded), or fetches the PDF the tab is showing, or, if the page has no readable text, takes screenshots of it.

The extension asks for no site permissions at install. The first time you score a page on LinkedIn or Indeed, Chrome asks whether the extension may read that site; it reads nothing there until you allow it, and it only ever reads when you click. On any other site it reads only the page in the active tab, and only when you click Score.

So that the panel can tell you whether the page you are on can be scored, and enable the button before you click, the extension can see the address and title of your current tab. That is never stored or transmitted on its own; a page’s address is sent only as part of a score you start.

Score a list. Company admins can score a whole sheet of candidates on the company’s own web tool (fcl-search-tool.up.railway.app). That site can ask the extension, through Chrome’s externally_connectable setting, to open each LinkedIn profile link on the sheet in a separate window and read it the same way Score this profile does. Only that site and the company’s API site (employer-finder-api.fclabz.com) can make the request, only while an admin is running a list they started, and only for the profile links on that sheet. The extension also answers that site with which version is installed and the signed-in session, so the admin does not have to sign in twice.

Apart from that, it cannot read pages in the background, pages on other tabs, or any page without a deliberate action.

Where the data goes

Posting text and candidate page content are sent to Full Circle Placements’ own backend services, which store them in databases the company controls. To analyse them, those services pass the content to the following processors:

Your email address is held in the company’s own authentication system and is not passed to any of the above.

What we do not do

Retention

Scan and score records, contact details looked up, and the outreach log are retained for as long as the account is active, so that duplicate submissions and lookups can be attributed and so staff can revisit earlier results. Your mailbox token is deleted the moment you disconnect the mailbox. Ask us to delete your account and its records and we will do so.
